Up until now, I’ve only painted using acrylics.  I’ve been wanting to jump into the world of oil for some time now.  Especially after seeing some pretty amazing stuff that oil can do.  It just has a depth and richness to it that feels so heavy, where my acrylic paintings seem to lack by being much flatter feeling.  I do appreciate the speediness and ease of acrylic, however, when trying to paint quickly and inexpensively.  Also, I hear acrylic fumes seems a lot less toxic to my health.

Any painters out there?  What do you think?  Any value oil products that you can recommend?  What additional things will I need?
